Obiettivi formativi
The classes, open to 2nd and 3rd year students, aim to improve their general level of English and complement the Official Course held in the 3rd year. Students study in groups of no more than 25 students, divided according to their level of English (pre-intermediate/intermediate/upper intermediate). Lessons cover all aspects of the language (grammar/vocabulary/pronunciation etc.) and include exercising listening and speaking skills. Students are expected to participate actively in the lessons. In the Language Laboratory on the 5th floor, students can access the interactive computer course 'Reward' to integrate their classroom studies, and the 'L-Test' to gauge their progress.

At the end of each semester of lessons students can retake the L-Test. If the result is positive, they can progress to the next level. Students should aim to reach an Intermediate level (or higher) by the 3rd year, in view of the level required for the 3rd year Official Course and the final exam.

Students are encouraged to use the interactive computer course, 'Reward', in the Language Laboratory on the 5th floor to integrate their studies, and to take the computerised Level Test (also in the Language Laboratory)
