Obiettivi formativi

The course develops a theoretical framework for understanding the reasons of international trade and the actual problems of international economic policy. We will develop step by step a simple and comprehensive framework, starting from the traditional approaches and moving to the new findings of economic research. It will be our concern to show how the theoretical background matches with the reality and what prescriptions we can derive for policy conduct.

The course uses microeconomic tools extensively, and therefore requires a good understanding of price theory
