Obiettivi formativi
While having a comparative and international dimension, the course aims at giving an insight into European Business Law, with particular focus on Company Law and Competition Law as it currently exists in the EU.
The course structure combines lectures and class discussions, all of which are based on materials found in the assigned textbook. Students must get the assigned readings done before class and be prepared to partecipate when called upon.

1) Knowledge and understanding
The objective of the course is for students to acquire a working knowledge of principles of European Business Law. Progress in understanding could be verified during classes and by means of intermediate activities such as the writing of essays or completing comprehension tests.
2) Capability in applying knowledge and understanding
The course aims at fostering the students' understanding of the methodological issues involved in European Business Law. Students will also be able to compare various legal systems.
3) Capability to approach the subject in a critical manner
By the end of the course, students are expected to have increased their ability to critically assess the solutions given by law to economic problems.
4) Communication abilities
Students will be required to communicate using the technical language of Law & Economics, and paractice will be given to understanding and using the specific language of European Business Law.
5) Learning ability
The course aims at fostering the students' ability to identify economic problems and policy issues and to assess what the best regulatory solutions to them could be.
